Great architecture is great, but to really make things sing requires that some further attention be paid. Ever think about what color your floor supply air registers should be against that carpet? What about tile layout and where the accent pieces go? Or whether you should even have accent pieces? Not to mention the coordination of the plumbing fixtures with the robe hooks and the towel bars...
It's not just limited to colors and fixtures however. Interior design, in the best case, happens in parallel with the development of the architecture. One folds into the other like a really great marbled rye bread batter.
