The Flock prototype is conceived as a gathering of buildings. The buildings create in-between spaces with varying degrees of enclosure while the decks serve to engage the landscape. This one bedroom , one bath dwelling allows multiple opportunities for congregation as well as seclusion depending on the need. The design's simplicity of form serves to increase efficiency and decrease cost. Compartmentalizing the program allows for independent climate control. The Flock prototype lends itself to convenient future expansion and reinforces a strong connection to the environment.
