Drawing on the client's initial desires for a home composed of volume and light with a constant connection to family; this residence is organized around the four cardinal directions. Given the strict urban lot profiles of the neighborhood, these compass points begin to define movement as well as interpret the unique day-lighting qualities of each direction. Four distinct light monitors at each end of the axis creatively respond to their respective light phenomenon.
